About client
InBase is the #1 document management systems developer and service provider. The company has five Enterprise-level products, Megapolis, Scriptum, E-Court, Deals, and UnityBase, that help digitalize all processes and paperwork for the public sector and leading commercial enterprises in the energy, finance, manufacturing, telecom, agro, and retail industries.
Project goal
The existing website was outdated and did not properly represent the brand and company’s expertise, leading to low CTA conversion rates. Also, the old version of the site was developed using Joomla CMS, which made its management extremely difficult and costly.
Craft Innovation’s goal was to fix these problems by redesigning the website’s UX/UI and transferring it to WordPress CMS.
Process explained
- We start by describing and assessing user personas, ICPs’ needs, and use-case scenarios when they search for DMS and BP automation vendors. Together with the InBase marketing team, we prioritize local and global competitors and review the InBase product portfolio, existing customers’ value propositions, project types and cases, and key success metrics.
- Based on collected data, the UX team started with competitor UX research and conducted interviews with stakeholders and customers to validate initial hypotheses about needs and expectations from the website.
- At the next stage, we mapped a new IA (Information architecture) of the website describing the user interaction logic (31 unique pages and forms in total)
- Moving from IA to prototyping, the design team created prototypes of all the pages: the main page, 7 product pages, the case study page, the blog and webinars, the about page, the partner’s catalog and partner page, technical support, the software updates download section, 3 contact forms, the about us page, educational materials, technical pages, and the ROI calculator.
- In parallel, our visual design team worked on visual concepts. Among five of them, we choose the “AstonMartin” – a concept that represents maturity, dedication to performance, elegance, and technological excellence.
- After visual concepts were merged with high-fidelity prototypes and mobile adoption was completed, the team conducted an express usability test to ensure that we met the initial goals.
- The development stage took 9 weeks. The project was executed on the WordPress engine, with the admin panel customised to the customer marketing team’s needs. All necessary analytical codes were installed as well.
